An accomplished technology governance, risk management and internal audit leader, Dr. Tan has dedicated her professional career to advancing digital trust, technology governance and cybersecurity while actively giving back to the community through education, mentoring and volunteerism.
Beyond her corporate leadership responsibilities, Dr. Tan is widely recognised for her contributions to Singapore’s technology community, where she continues to inspire professionals, students and aspiring leaders through conferences, mentoring programmes, industry collaborations and public speaking.
Today, her vision for SheLeadsTech Singapore extends beyond gender diversity—fostering self-leadership, lifelong learning and community collaboration that enable individuals to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Prior to her current leadership responsibilities in global internal audit, Dr. Tan served as a Risk Assurance Partner at PwC, leading IT Audit & Advisory and Business Resilience practices before continuing her leadership journey in multinational organisations.
She also contributes to governance through advisory and audit committee appointments within Singapore institutions.
